The Night-Light

"The people walking in darkness have see a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death

Thank you, God, for night-lights.

Thank you for the Mickey Mouse light that gives security to a young child.

Thank you for that faint bit of light that shines from the bathroom and guides sleepy eyes through the darkness.

Thank you, God, for night-lights.

Thank you for that one single lamp that welcomes me home late at night.

Thank you for the candle or lantern when electric power goes out.

Thank you, God, for night-lights.

Thank you for moon and stars to give light to the night.

Thank you for the dawning sun to brighten the new day.

Thank you, God, for night-lights.

Thank you for Jesus the true light, bringing light to each of us.

Thank you for the Light of the World, who dawns in our lives.

Thank you, God, for a light dawning in our darkness.
